About the Role
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and supervising all civil and infrastructure activities at the project site. This role ensures that construction works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and Aramco standards.
In major industrial environments such as Haradh, the Civil Engineer plays a vital role in coordinating with contractors, site teams, and project management to ensure seamless execution of project activities. The primary objective of this position is to deliver safe, durable, and efficient construction solutions while maintaining strict quality control and compliance with industry and Aramco requirements. This role is essential for ensuring structural integrity and supporting the successful completion of long‑term oil and gas projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all on-site civil construction activities, including excavation, foundations, structural works, and finishing.
- Review engineering drawings and verify proper implementation of design specifications.
- Monitor daily site progress and ensure work is completed within schedule and budget.
- Coordinate with project managers, safety teams, and subcontractors to maintain smooth workflow.
- Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks, and prepare progress reports.
- Ensure full compliance with Aramco safety, quality, and engineering standards.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues arising during project execution.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of Aramco project experience in civil engineering.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, structural design, and project management.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and site plans.
- Experience in oil & gas or large-scale industrial projects is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in demanding site environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with multicultural site teams.
